About Me
My name is Kameko Jacobs and I am excited to begin my fourth year as a Round Rock Dragon! I absolutely love teaching, discussing, digesting, unpacking and ruminating on history with our students. I have a Bachelors degree in History from Oberlin College and a Masters degree in Social Studies education from the University of Texas Austin. My passion is providing students with multiple perspectives and critical thinking skills in ways that both unearth the past and enlighten the present.

In my free time I love to read, play music, catch a movie at the Alamo, and take my dog on hikes around the greenbelt. My absolute favorite thing to do is travel! Some places I've visited so far: Denmark, Tanzania, Kenya, Guatemala, Mexico, Israel, Ireland, England, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, and France.
